"It was the boys' idea to also have Otta in the room" says Sophie, mom to Albus, 9, Hubert almost 7, and Otta 1,5 years old.
In that way, the decision to share a room all three of them was driven by the children, and not something Sophie and her husband had given much thought to.
The room now hosts two larger beds and one crib, with each bed being a small, private “zone” for each child. The rest of the room is shared. Limited space has made the family rethink storage solutions, including using the walls in a creative and fun way.
Explore this lovely room, where colour plays a central role and the space accommodates multiple needs, while serving one shared purpose: To create a calm, safe setting for three children’s sleep, quiet time, and cosy moments.
A look into the room, where the red floor immediately pops. Sophie, mom to Albus, Hubert and Otta, loves colours – especially those that make some noise either on their own, or as a contrast to one another.
Three beds are flanked on three sides of the room, making room for each child. A rug in the middle gathers the room.
Seen here: A small red mushroom lamp, a tower of colourful Stapelstein, a small raffia storage box, the book 'Our Galaxy' folded as a globe.
The green walls is another bold colour move, that embraces the entire room.
On the bed lies a photo book from Once Upon, and a small, red mushroom lamp, that matches the red floor, adds a warm light in the corner.

A wooden drawer is used to store some of the children's clothing. On it, a game of four in a row, vintage suitcases used to store small toys – explore our suitcase selection here – and a wooden toy cradle with cute flower details.
“We try to choose toys and pieces thoughtfully – things that create cosy memories. I think the kids’ room reflects that.”

A vintage rack, a vintage clown mobile and handmade embroidered name cards from Shop Hubbus hang on the wall. A cute little bear lie in a just-as-cute little wooden cradle with flower details.
The book 'Our Galaxy', here folded as s globe, is as much a decor piece as it is an amazing book.
'Our Galaxy' is also available in 'Our World' and 'Our Seasons' editions. Each book comes with detailed facts and details, and the most beautiful illustrations.
Checkered blue pillows add a splash of colour to one of the bigger bed. On it lies a photo book from Once Upon and a soft, cuddly bunny.
Albus loves to build LEGO, but with limited space to store his finished creations – and younger siblings who can’t resist to touch –the family had to rethink their setup. Now his LEGO builds hang on the wall, creating an eye-catching display, that looks beautiful against the green walls.
As Otta moved in, so did her wooden toys that are kept in a wooden, vintage display shelf. Lately, red 'Gnome's house' and blue 'Tower Drops' block puzzles were added to her impressive wooden toys collection.
'Den Fantastiske Bus', the family's holiday memories in a photo book from Once Upon and a harmonica sit on the little shelf by Albus' bed. A small mushroom lamp gives off a soothing light at night time – just enough to allow for him to read at bedtime without waking up his younger siblings.
