A carefully chosen wallpaper sets the tone in 6-month-old Martha's room. It fills the space with something to look at, while still feeling calm and familiar. "I especially love the wallpaper," Martha's mom shares. "It creates such a magical atmosphere, even in a small room."
When it comes to colour, texture, and print, the approach here is refreshingly intuitive. Rather than planning every detail in advance, it has been more about trusting the process – testing combinations, seeing what feels right, and letting the space evolve naturally.
One clever touch: Painting the shelf the same shade as the ceiling, creating a seamless, cohesive look that makes the room feel intentional without trying too hard.
Josef Frank's 'Klöverblad' wallpaper creates a beautiful backdrop to the rattan crib and the wooden ball track placed in front.
A duck lamp sits in the window sill, close to the changing station and not too far from Martha's bed.
The rattan crib was found vintage on dba. On it hangs a tulips blanket. A Peter the Rabbit baby cup and red pacifier are placed on the stool next to the crib.
The beautiful Winnie the Pooh's 100-year-anniversary book lies on a just as beautiful red-and-white-striped chair – a wedding gift to Martha's parents from Martha's granddad.

A cute lineup of soft toys and rattles sit on the shelf, while the Little Prince pop-up edition sits on the top shelf – far away from little busy fingers.
The shelf has been painted in the same colour as the ceiling, which is "Under My Skin" from File Under Pop.
The changing station with all its necessities. On the changing pad: A cute little set for Martha to wear, including our purple cashmere hat and a pacifier in baby pink.
Let Snoopy add a touch of magic: Martha's toothbrush on the 'Watermelon' tray.
Books in the window sill, and little boxes filled with toys and other treasures.
Curtains are made by Martha's mom.
A handmade pacifier clip and a coral pacifier makes for a perfect pair.
Underneath the two: The tulip blanket in 100% wool.
A butter yellow Nanchen doll is ready for cuddles, next to it; a Peter the Rabbit baby cup and a red pacifier.
The stool is a vintage find, and then painted by Martha's mom.
